Tour Details

Donghwasa Temple

Originally named Yugasa Temple, Donghwasa Temple is located south of Palgongsan Mountain, about 22 km northeast of Daegu. It was built by Monk Geukdal in the 15th year of King Soji’s reign (AD 493). The original name of the temple was Yugasa Temple, but Simjiwangsa rebuilt the temple under King Heungdeok (r. AD 826-836) and named it Donghwasa Temple, which means even during the winter season, the paulownia tree still blooms. The present temple was built in 1732.

Mabijeong Mural Village

Mabijeong Mural Village,  has become a "mural village" through the green rural experience. The village became a tourist destination in Daegu and even the whole country. In addition , it  also attracted many domestic and foreign tourists after SBS's popular variety show "running man" was filmed here.

Village of Nampyeong Moon Clan

The Moon estate, built by a descendant of Ik-jeom Moon, is located and preserved in Hwawon-eup, Bonri-ri. It was designated as an Folk Material N0.3.

Apsan Observatory

Take the cable car to the top of the mountain and see the picturesque scenery of Daegu in front of you. Breathe the fresh air in the mountains,  in the lush forest, let down the daily stress and rejuvenate.

Daegu E-World (Optional)

Formerly Wooband Tower Land,  E-World is a theme park built around Woobang Tower (Oct. 1987). The area around the tower was remodeled as a European-style park and opened. It features a waterfall, fountains, lighting displays, and flowers, as well as rides, exhibition and performance halls, and restaurants. E-World has several plazas characterized by different themes; major plazas include Entry Plaza (at the park entrance), Central Plaza, Children’s Plaza (playground), and Young Town Plaza.
