Tour Details

Palgongsan Natural Park

Palgongsan Natural Park  is centered around Palgongsan Mountain, one of the largest mountains in the Taebaek mountain range. Palgongsan Mountain is located 20 km northeast from downtown Daegu, where Nakdonggang River and Geumhogang River meet.

The park has numerous rocks and valleys which are carpeted with azaleas in Spring. In Autumn, visitors flock to the park to admire autumn leaves of the trees lining 16.3km-long and its delicate snowscape in Winter makes it another popular spot for a weekend getaway.

Donghwasa Temple

Originally named Yugasa Temple, Donghwasa Temple is located south of Palgongsan Mountain, about 22 km northeast of Daegu. It was built by Monk Geukdal in the 15th year of King Soji’s reign (AD 493). The original name of the temple was Yugasa Temple, but Simjiwangsa rebuilt the temple under King Heungdeok (r. AD 826-836) and named it Donghwasa Temple, which means even during the winter season, the paulownia tree still blooms. The present temple was built in 1732.

Kim Kwangseok-gil Street

A mural street near Bangcheon Market where the now deceased famous singer-songwriter Kim Kwang-seok used to live. The 350 m-long wall has statues and murals depicting his life and music.

Cheongna Hill and Daegu Jeil Church

This very historic hilly area of Daegu contains various early-20th-century missionary houses and residences and is a charming diversion into the city's European-style history and heritage.

Daegu Jeil Church is the oldest Protestant Church with traditional and Western architectural designs.

E-World (Optional)

Formerly Wooband Tower Land,  E-World is a theme park built around Woobang Tower (Oct. 1987). The area around the tower was remodeled as a European-style park and opened.
