Samjin Fish Cake Making Experience
Fish cakes are one of the most popular local food in Busan. Among many fish cake makers in the city, Samjin Fish Cake is the oldest fish cake producer. At Samjin Fish Cake History Museum · History Hall, experience making your very own fish cake under professional guidance. You can also choose among a variety of fish cakes and purchase some as souvenirs for your loved ones at home.
Huinnyeoul Culture Village
Huinnyeoul Culture Village is an absolute must for those dopping by Yeongdo of Busan, as one can explore the dramatic lives and interests of a small, simple neighborhood here. "Huinnyeoul", with a meaning of 'white river' in Korean, precisely describes how waves create impressive rolling white foam in the ocean, which is a spectacular view when walking along the village's seacoast pathway.
In 2011, local artists began to take residence in what had began to turn into a decaying village. They have brought it back to life through their paintings on many walls.
Gukje Market
Gukje Market is one of Korea’s largest traditional market loved by both locals and tourists. A place steeped in history, the market humbly began during the Korean War in 1950 as a place for war refugees to try to eke out a living, soon growing into a large, busy market. Each alleyway is crowded with stalls, and you can find almost everything you need right there.
Jagalchi Market
Located on the shore side road in Busan's Jung-gu, Jagalchi is Korea's largest seafood market, selling both live and dried fish. After the Korean War, the market solidified itself as a fish market.
